Core Values

The Authority of the Bible We believe the Bible is God’s Word and our sole source of knowledge of eternal salvation and guidance for daily life, and therefore worth serious, disciplined thought and study. In Q Place discussions the Bible, not the study guide or the discussion moderator, is the authority.		Self-discovery We believe the inductive method is a sound, practical, consistent approach to Scripture and apologetics.  Modeled regularly by Jesus, the inductive method promotes personal discovery, dialogue, and application of Biblical truth through the use of questions.
Small Groups We believe small groups are conducive to adult learning in a safe, comfortable environment where all feel free to ask questions and share personal discoveries of Biblical truth, its meaning, and application to our lives.		Shared Leadership We believe group interactions are more dynamic and effective when all the participants take ownership by studying, participating, asking the discussion questions, and following group guidelines.  We believe that initiators facilitate best by asking great questions, listening really well, and trusting the Holy Spirit to work in people’s hearts.
The Holy Spirit We believe in the effective work of the Holy Spirit, using God’s Word, to bring people to see Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, understand the Gospel, trust in Jesus for forgiveness and eternal life, and keep growing in Him.		Human Dignity We believe all people are created by God to worship, serve, and enjoy Him.  We are committed to the value and dignity of all people as we discuss spiritual questions and study God’s Word, giving freedom to question, probe, and to accept or refuse God’s offer of salvation.
